This IQVIA system provides single sign-on (SSO) access to IQVIA applications for both internal (IQVIA employees/contractors) and external (customer/HCP/patient/partner) users. This system manages user profiles and login credentials for only a specific type of external user. User profiles and credentials for all other users are managed by their home companies. If you received an email invitation to create your user profile when first enrolled on this system, then your profile and credentials are managed here, by IQVIA. Please review the questions and answers below before contacting the SDA Help Desk for assistance. Thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Username and Password
You are not allowed to change your username on this system. Please contact your home organization help desk for assistance. (This includes IQVIA employees.)
If you were asked to create a user profile which included your username and password, when you were enrolled on this system, reset your password using the Forgot Password link. We will send a PIN code to the mobile phone or email address in your profile, so please make sure you have access to one of these in order to complete the reset. If you did not create a user profile on this system, your username and password are managed by your home organization. Please use your home organization's Forgot Password functionality or contact their help desk for assistance. (This includes IQVIA employees.)
If you were asked to create a user profile which included your username and password, when you were enrolled on this system, reset your password using the Change Password link. If you did not create a user profile on this system, your username and password are managed by your home organization. Please use your home organization's Change Password functionality or contact their help desk for assistance. (This includes IQVIA employees.)
Some IQVIA applications allow social logins. If the login prompt page for an application includes social media icons, you can click on one to use your username/password for that account to access the IQVIA application.
Externals user accounts will be locked for 60 minutes following 5 failed attempts to enter username and password during login. The account will automatically unlock after 60 minutes.
Provided that your home company did not request we remove you from our system, your username will be recognized. However, your password may have expired if you have been away long enough. Not to worry, the system will guide you through self-service password reset when you click on the Change Password or Forgot Password links.
Password complexity rules are strictly enforced on this system. Users with access to sensitive data or applications will be required to use passwords that are longer and contain more character groups: alphabetical (a, b, c, or A, B, C...) numerical (1, 2, 3...) and special (%, #, !...) It may take several tries but the system will guide you in order to acheive the required complexity.
We require that you create a unique password each time that you are asked to change it.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
MFA can take many different forms but essentially it is an authentication method that requires the user to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to an application. For example: username/password plus a verification code sent to your mobile phone or email address.
MFA is required for IQVIA applications that handle sensitive data as it provides an additional layer of security.
No, you cannot disable MFA. The need for MFA is determined by IQVIA application owners/administrators based on the sensitivity of the data handled within the application.
If you have logged in with your username/password, and are now accessing an application that requires MFA, or you are accessing sensitive data within an application, the system will 'step-up to MFA'. In this case, we recognize that you are already logged in, but we need to prompt you for an additional form of verification.
Launch
No, you will not. This system supports single sign-on (SSO) which means if you are logged into your launch pad or one of our applications, you will be seamlessly logged into the others. And in some cases, users will not be prompted to enter their login credentials at all because there is a trusted relationship between their home company and IQVIA.
Please check your inbox to see if you have received email notification that you were granted access to the application. If you do not, your request for access to an IQVIA application may not have been processed yet. Please inform your manager or your organization's IQVIA account manager.
Please inform your manager or your organization's IQVIA account manager who can make an application access request on your behalf.
Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact the support help desk for that application. Contact information can be found on our Contacts Page, see link below.
User Profile
If you were asked to create a user profile when first enrolled on this system, you can make changes to that profile by clicking on the persona icon on your launch pad.
It is not possible to change your email address in this system. Please contact your home organization to make the change and request that you be reprovisioned to this system with your new email address.
The alternate email address has been removed from the system.
This system uses the email address provided when you were initially enrolled as your username. If that email address changes you will need to be re-enrolled. You will not be able to make changes to your name or username on this system. Please contact your manager or your company's IQVIA liason regarding re-enrollment..
